This December, the kennels at Van Buren County Animal Control are getting a little extra sparkle. From December 1–15, we’re joining BISSELL Pet Foundation’s nationwide Empty the Shelters – Holiday Hope event — a seasonal push to help every dog find a warm home before winter truly settles in.
If you’ve been thinking about adding a four-legged friend to your life, this is the moment. Adoption fees for dogs six months and older are just $40, thanks to BISSELL Pet Foundation sponsoring reduced-fee adoptions across the country. It’s a rare chance to meet your new best friend and make space for the next animal who needs a safe place to land.
Whether you’re ready to adopt or just curious about who’s waiting for a home, stop by the shelter or check out the event details below. A little holiday hope can go a long way — especially when it walks on paws.
