The Van Buren County Community Services Department connects residents, local governments, and partner organizations with the resources and support they need to thrive. Community Services works with county boards, commissions, and partners on initiatives ranging from land use planning and economic development to parks, recreation, and environmental stewardship.
What We Do
Community Services plays a vital role in strengthening Van Buren County by:
- Coordinating county boards, commissions, and public initiatives.
- Advancing neighborhood development and long-term planning efforts.
- Supporting farmland preservation and responsible growth.
- Managing grants and resources that improve local infrastructure and services.
