Dive Rescue & Recovery Team

The Van Buren County Dive Rescue and Recovery Team consists of eight skilled rescue divers and four boat handlers. Our team is equipped with the latest dive rescue gear to ensure safety and effectiveness in every situation.

Our team members train monthly to maintain their skills and learn new procedures. They use dry suits and full face masks with underwater communication devices. These devices help divers stay in touch with the surface team, including boat handlers. We also use wet suits and standard scuba gear.

The Dive Team is available 24/7 for search and rescue, recovery, and evidence collection. We work closely with the Van Buren County Marine Division to ensure quick and safe operations. We have multiple boats, trucks, and trailers ready for any mission.
