Our lobby is open for fingerprints, bonds, and one terminal for visits.
Remote video visits are still available. Each inmate receives one free 15-minute visit per week. Phone and mail communication continue as normal.
Fingerprinting Services
The Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office provides Live Scan fingerprinting services during the following hours:
Monday through Thursday
7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Services Available During These Hours
- Pre-employment fingerprinting
- Wet ink fingerprinting
- Any fingerprinting services that require a fee
Court-Ordered Fingerprinting
Court-ordered fingerprinting will continue to be accepted outside of and in addition to the hours listed above, consistent with prior procedures.
Fees
- Live Scan fingerprinting: $65
- Wet ink fingerprinting: $20
- Additional wet ink cards: $10 per additional card
Payment Policy:
All fingerprinting fees must be paid in cash, exact change only.
Before You Arrive
To ensure timely service, please review the following requirements before arriving:
- Bring a valid government-issued photo ID
- Bring cash payment in exact change only
- Verify that your service does not require a court order if arriving during standard fingerprinting hours
- Allow sufficient time to complete processing before closing
Failure to meet these requirements may result in delays or inability to complete fingerprinting services.
