The Jury Board oversees the court’s jury qualification and selection process. We meet every May to review and suggest improvements for the court’s Jury Management System (JMS) and discuss Jury Utilization performance measures.
With approval from the Chief Judge and the Board of Commissioners, Van Buren County Courts employ a jury clerk and a backup to assist the Jury Board with the qualification process.
The Van Buren County Board of Commissioners appoints members to the Jury Board. Each member serves a six-year term.
