Application Requirements

Please complete all forms and bring the necessary documents. We do not provide photocopy services.

Steps to Obtain a Passport

Submit a Passport Application:
- Complete online and print: Online Application
- Fill out a paper application at our office.
Submit a Passport Photo:
- Bring your own photo: Photo Requirements
- ~~We can take your photo for $10.~~ As of September 1st, 2026, this acceptance facility will no longer be providing passport photos.
Provide ID and Citizenship Documentation:

Fees

Passport fees vary by age, type, and renewal status. Use the Fee Calculator to determine costs.

Application Fee: Payable by check or money order to the Department of State. A separate payment is needed for each application.
Execution Fee: $35, payable by check, money order, or cash to Van Buren County.
~~Optional Photo Fee: $10, payable by check, money order, or cash to Van Buren County.~~ As of September 1st, 2026, this acceptance facility will no longer be providing passport photos.
