Criminal Investigations Division

The Criminal Investigations Division (CID) supports the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office by conducting thorough investigations. We are committed to providing excellent investigative services to help maintain the quality of life in our community. Our team handles all criminal cases, from misdemeanors to felonies.

Our Team

Our division includes a Detective Lieutenant, two Detective Sergeants, two Detectives, and a Detective specializing in Computer Crimes. One Detective Sergeant is also part of the Michigan State Police Southwest Commercial Auto Recovery (SCAR) Task Force.

Our detectives collaborate with the Van Buren County Major Crimes Task Force, working alongside local, state, and federal agencies.
