Computer Crimes Unit

The Computer Crimes Unit helps investigate and handle digital evidence for many criminal cases. We work with the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office and other local, state, and federal agencies to examine digital devices.

Our Detective is part of the Michigan State Police Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force. This team includes law enforcement and civilians from various agencies. We focus on preventing and responding to child abuse and exploitation online.
