The Van Buren County AI Task Force meets regularly to explore and evaluate emerging AI technologies for county operations. The group develops and refines AI policies and training programs, pilots innovative tools, and discusses best practices for integrating AI solutions that improve service delivery while ensuring data security and compliance.

We are here to guide and support our community in planning decisions. Our commission was reestablished under the Michigan Planning Enabling Act, PA 33 of 2008. Members are appointed by the County Board of Commissioners to create and adopt a county plan. We work closely with local planning commissions to ensure sustainable and lawful planning.
