Holiday Closing Schedule

Our County offices and facilities will be closed on the following holidays through 2024. This includes the East and West Courthouses, Administration and Land Services Building, Animal Control, Friend of the Court, Veteran Services, and the MSU Extension office.

Holiday Observance Policy

If New Year’s Day, Independence Day, Veterans Day, or Christmas Day falls on a Saturday, we will observe the holiday on the preceding Friday. If these holidays fall on a Sunday, we will observe them on the following Monday.

If Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve falls on a Friday, we will observe the holiday on the preceding Thursday. If these holidays fall on a Saturday or Sunday, we will observe them on the preceding Friday.
