Season’s Greetings from the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office

As the holiday season is upon us, the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a safe and Happy New Year.

This time of year serves as a reminder of the strength of our community and the support we are fortunate to receive throughout the year. We are sincerely grateful for the trust, cooperation, and kindness shown by the citizens of Van Buren County. Your support allows us to continue our mission of serving and protecting the community every day.

We would also like to take a moment to recognize and thank the dedicated men and women of the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office—both paid and volunteer—along with all first responders who continue to serve throughout the holiday season. While many are celebrating with family and friends, these individuals remain on duty or on call, working around the clock to help ensure the safety and well-being of our community.

Whether responding to emergencies, maintaining public safety, supporting daily operations, or working behind the scenes, their dedication, professionalism, and sacrifice do not go unnoticed. We are deeply appreciative of their commitment and service to Van Buren County.

As you celebrate, we encourage everyone to make safety a priority. Please drive responsibly, obey traffic laws, and never drive impaired. A few careful choices can help ensure that everyone makes it home safely to their loved ones.

From all of us at the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office, thank you for being a part of our community. We wish you peace, joy, and safety throughout the holiday season and into the New Year.

Stay safe, and Happy New Year.

Sheriff Daniel E. Abbott
