Van Buren County partners with the Van Buren Conservation District (VBCD) to bring free, convenient recycling collection events to residents throughout the county. These events make it easier to responsibly dispose of items that don’t belong in your regular trash or recycling bin.

Recycle Roundups

Recycle Roundups are VBCD’s largest recycling events of the year, held three times annually at locations across Van Buren County. Each event runs from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM and is open to Van Buren County residents and landowners.

What’s collected: Household hazardous waste, electronics, tires, and foam.

What you need to know:

  • Bring proof of Van Buren County residency or landownership (an ID with a county address or a tax bill). New this year – pre-register at https://forms.gle/ESe4H8ytH96DHTuB7
  • Pre-registration is required if you are bringing tires. Register at forms.gle/ESe4H8ytH96DHTuB7. Watch for a follow-up form sent approximately two weeks before your event date.
  • Registration is optional for attendees not bringing tires.
  • Tires are accepted on- or off-rim; passenger and semi-sized or smaller only (no oversized tires).
  • Up to 10 tires per household are guaranteed; additional tires may be accepted based on capacity.
