Weβve got some great news coming out of the latest Board of Commissioners meeting on 3/10!
First up, mark your calendars! While the County doesn’t organize these events, the Board has officially approved the use of various County properties and parking lots to help make an incredibly fun and robust lineup of community-hosted events possible for 2026!
Get ready to spend your weekends enjoying the Paw Paw Village Farmers’ Market, hosted by the Village of Paw Paw, which has been approved to set up in Courtyard Park every Sunday from May 17th through October 18th. If live music is more your speed, we are also thrilled to support the Warner Vineyards Summer Concert Series. While the concerts themselves take place at the vineyard, the County has approved the use of our paved, non-Sheriff parking lots for overflow parking every Friday and Saturday night from May through October! This extra parking will help accommodate the crowds and provide a massive economic boost to our local restaurants and shops.
But the fun doesn’t stop there! Citizens can look forward to a jam-packed schedule of beloved local traditions hosted by various community organizations that will be utilizing County grounds, streets, and parking areas throughout the year, including:
- The National Day of Prayer
- Paw Paw Days & the Arts & Crafts Fair
- The Grape Lake 5K & the Vineyard Classic Bike Tour
- The Lakeshore Harvest Ride
- Christmas in the Village!
We can’t wait to see everyone out and about enjoying these incredible community-led events next year!
