Ending Veteran Homelessness: Veteran Outreach

Van Buren County Veterans Services is committed to ensuring that every veteran in our community has access to the support, stability, and resources they deserve. As part of that mission, a monthly Homeless Veteran Outreach event is held to connect veterans with direct assistance, guidance, and compassionate care.

The outreach takes place on the second Wednesday of each month from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Veterans Service Office, 226 E Michigan Avenue, Paw Paw. Veterans can meet one‑on‑one with Rudy Verbos, LLMSW, a dedicated social worker specializing in homeless veteran care. Rudy provides personalized support, helps navigate available programs, and works with veterans to find pathways toward housing stability and improved well‑being.

Any veteran experiencing homelessness, or at risk of it, is encouraged to attend. For questions or additional information, Rudy can be reached at (269) 832‑4503 or rudolph.verbos@va.gov.

Van Buren County Veteran Services remains committed to standing beside our veterans, ensuring no one faces hardship alone.
